Creases in Rear Seat Covers





If you receive customer reports in the above model vehicles of creases in the rear seat covers (Figure 1), refer to the below remedy to resolve.

Vehicles with Option Code 140 (MBTex). Up to VIN B100720

Note:
Only rear backrest covers may be affected.

1. Remove rear backrest.

2. Remove padding from rear backrest.





3. Route stapling wire (Figure 2) from wide hose strap to narrow hose strap

4. Reattach padding to cover and reinstall rear backrest.

Vehicles with Option Code 820 (Amaretta/Leather/Nappa)

Note:
Either the rear backrest or rear cushion may be affected.

1. Remove either rear backrest or rear cushion.

2. Remove padding.

3. Route stapling wire from wide hose strap to narrow hose strap.

4. Reattach padding to cover and reinstall rear backrest or rear cushion.
