- except CODE (489) Airmatic (semi-active air suspension)
- Electrical connector at the front of the damping valve

Component Identification:

1 Unclip bracket (1) from the longitudinal member.
2 Press detent (2) upwards using screwdriver and pull left front axle damping valve unit connector (Y51x1) and right front axle damping valve unit connector (Y52x1) out of bracket (1) in direction of arrow.

Shown on left front wheel

3 Unlock and separate connector for left front axle damping valve unit (Y51x1) and connector for right front axle damping valve unit (Y52x1).
4 Unclip electrical feed line form the bracket (3) on the longitudinal member.

Installation: Ensure lines are installed correctly.
