Checking Follower Joint Of Steering Knuckle Bearing (Installed)

Inspect

DANGER:
- Risk of death. Death may result if vehicle slips or topples from the lifting platform.
- Align vehicle between the columns of the lifting platform and position the four support plates at the lifting platform support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.

1 Raise vehicle.
2 Check boot (8f) for cracks and damage.
- Replace upper transverse control arm (6) if necessary.

3 Check follower joint play

NOTE:
- By pulling and pushing vigorously on the front wheel, while feeling the follower joint at the same time
- Replace upper transverse control arm (6) if necessary.
