AR54.15-P-1310T Remove/Install Driver's Side Interior Fuse Box







1 Disconnect ground cable of battery
2 Unclip cover (1) from instrument panel (2).

See "Special Tools" given below.

3 Remove fuses (3).

NOTE: For installation location of fuses (3), see fuse assignment plan.

DANGER:
- Risk of fire and explosion when machining magnesium components
- Keep away from source of ignition and naked flame.


4 Unscrew bolts (4)

NOTE: The crossmember under the instrument panel (2) is made of a magnesium alloy.

CAUTION: Information on machining magnesium

5 Remove interior fuse box (F34) from crossmember under the instrument panel (2)

NOTE: Until the back of the interior fuse box (F34) is accessible.

6 Detach positive lead (5) from interior fuse box (F34).
7 Unclip fuse holder (6) from interior fuse box (F34).

NOTE:
- To do this, press back hooks (7) with screwdriver. Number of fuse holders (6) if equipped.
- Installation: Observe color coding of fuse holders (6). Route electric cables without crossing over.

8 Remove plug contacts (8) and plug contact (arrow) from the interior fuse box (F34)

CAUTION: Installation: Observe installation location, as with incorrect assignment of the plug contacts (8) and the plug contact (arrow) there is the danger of damage to the electrical system

NOTE: Installation: Route electric cables without crossing over.

9 Remove interior fuse box (F34).
10 Install in the reverse order.
