Switching on the glove compartment illumination
The glove compartment illumination with switch (E13/2) is switched on via the switch integrated into the glove compartment illumination with switch (E13/2) when the glove compartment is opened
The glove compartment illumination with switch (E13/2) is switched off by closing the glove compartment or automatically 15 minutes after the interior CAN has gone over to standby. This function is irrespective of the rain/light sensor (B38/2) status and door contact status.

Switching on again after automatic switch-off
If the glove compartment illumination with switch (E13/2) was switched off automatically after 15 minutes via the interior CAN, then it is only switched on again when the interior CAN has been activated, for example, by opening a door.
