GF00.20-P-2010TA Display Service Scope, Function
GF00.20-P-2010TA Display Service Scope, Function
- MODEL 211.0 /2 as from 1.6.05
The service code is displayed on the multifunction display (A1p13) of the instrument cluster (A1). This includes the time taken to perform the service and is classified from A to H. The code is in ascending order. The codes are:
- Code A: Service scope of up to 1 h
- Code B: Service scope of up to 2 h
- Code H: Service scope of up to 8 h
The evaluation of all the important data takes place in the central gateway control unit (N93) via the Service processor module.
The service scope can be determined in 3 different ways:
- Via the instrument cluster (A1) the workshop code can be read out and this can be entered into the Workshop Information System (WIS). WIS decodes this workshop code, determines the service scope and the additional work to be performed on the vehicle. These are then preselected in the WIS. Then the vehicle-related service sheet can be printed out.
- The workshop code can be read out and noted via the instrument cluster (A1). With the stored service items, these can then be checked and allocated using the service booklet.
- In the service mode, access to the data from the ASSYST PLUS is possible with the aid of STAR DIAGNOSIS. ASSYST PLUS is switched to the diagnosis state for this purpose.
Essentially, the following actions are possible:
- Output of the operations to be performed for this service. A list of all the operations to be performed at this service date is generated.
- Configuration of the maintenance items. Maintenance items can be configured by activating or deactivating them. Here, the corresponding weighting of all the other data for the item (e.g. scheduled maintenance, exceeding limit, weighting) with plausible values must be assigned in the maintenance item by STAR DIAGNOSIS.
- Confirmation of services performed. And identifier is set for the corresponding maintenance items indicating that this service has been performed.
- Reversing an unintentional confirmation of maintenance items. The resetting of a maintenance item (maintenance confirmed) is possible once within one service period.
- Reading out the service memory. This provides information about maintenance that has already been performed.
- If the central gateway control unit (N93) is replaced, all relevant data is buffered by the STAR DIAGNOSIS and then transferred to the new central gateway control unit (N93).
