Climate Control Exhaust Gas Sensor: Service and Repair

AR83.40-P-6730T Remove/Install Multifunction Sensor
- with CODE (581b) Convenience automatic air conditioning






1 Disconnect ground cable of battery
2 Open engine hood
3 Disconnect electrical connector (1) on the C-AAC [K-KLA] multifunction sensor (B31)
4 Unscrew screws (2)
5 Remove C-AAC multifunction sensor (B31) from the water collector

NOTE: Installation: The sensor faces (3) must point toward the water collector. Ensure that the electrical line is correctly routed.

6 Install in the reverse order.
