Function
The AAC [KLA] control and operating unit (N22) or comfort automatic air conditioning (N22/7) passes on a control voltage of 0 % to 100 % to the blower regulator (A32n1) via climate bus 1. This regulates the output of the blower motor (A32m1) and with it the flow volume of the air drawn in or recirculated. The blower motor (A32m1) receives an onboard power supply from the driver- side SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/1).

The blower regulator is influenced by the following factors:
- Blower preselection at the AAC control and operating module (N22) or comfort AAC control and operating module (N22/7)
- preselection of air distribution duct
- Function AC OFF active
- engine residual heat utilization function active
- recirculated air function active
- temperature preselection
- Coolant temperature
- outside temperature
- Vehicle speed
- Flap positions
- Position of all four windows and the tilting/sliding roof
