Corrosion of Weld Seam on Sealing Flange of Windshield and/or Rear Window





If after the removal of the front or rear glass in the above model vehicles, corrosion of the weld seam flange is noted in either the front or rear (Figure 1), repair the corrosion. Clean the sealing flange as it must be free of dust and grease.

In addition, perform any new paintwork according to guidelines from Mercedes-Benz using repair materials and instructions of approved paint vendors.
