AR77.21-P-0201T Remove/Install Rear Panoramic Roof Roller Sun Blind

DANGER:
- Risk of injury to fingers being jammed or squeezed when removing and installing or aligning hoods, doors, trunk lid/tailgate or sliding roof.
- When moving components, ensure that no body parts or limbs are within the operating range of moving parts.
1 Open roller sun blind (1)
2 Remove roof paneling
3 Unclip clamping strip (3) of roller sun blind (1) by rotating in direction of arrow (arrow A) on left and right side of vehicle simultaneously from sun blind coupling (2)
4 Remove clamping strip (3)
5 Press roller sun blind (1) in direction of arrow (arrow B) and lower the roller sun blind (1) on the right-hand side (arrow C)
CAUTION: Do not lower roller sun blind (1) too low, otherwise the sun blind shaft (5) may break.
6 Insert suitable retaining wire (4) (Dia 0.8 mm) into the hole on the left-hand side (arrow B) of the sun blind shaft (5)
7 Securely hold roller sun blind (1) and retaining wire (4) to prevent twisting and pull the roller sun blind (1) out of the guide
NOTE: Roller sun blind (1) and sun blind shaft (5) are pretensioned.
8 Securely hold retaining wire (4) and slowly relieve tension on the roller sun blind (1) by turning
9 Pull retaining wire (4) out of the sun blind shaft (5)
10 Insert retaining wire (4) into the hole of the sun blind shaft (5)
11 Securely hold retaining wire (4) and pretension the roller sun blind (1) by twisting
NOTE: Pretension of roller sun blind (1) approx.18 to 20 revolutions.
12 Insert sun blind shaft (5) into the guide on the left-hand side (arrow B)
CAUTION: Insert roller sun blind (1) as horizontally as possible, otherwise the sun blind shaft (5) may break.
13 Pull out retaining wire (4) and then press the roller sun blind (1) in direction of arrow (arrow B) to the left
14 Latch roller sun blind (1) on the right-hand side (arrow C)
15 Insert clamping strip (3)
16 Clip clamping strip (3) of roller sun blind (1) by rotating in direction of arrow (arrow A) on left and right side of vehicle simultaneously into the sun blind coupling (2)
17 Install roof paneling
18 Close roller sun blind
