GF77.20-P-3004T Sliding/Pop-Up Roof Obstruction Sensor, Function

GF77.20-P-3004T Sliding/Pop-Up Roof Obstruction Sensor, Function
- with CODE (414a) Electric glass sliding/pop-up roof

Obstruction sensor
An excessive force limiter feature is installed in the sliding/pop-up roof to protect against injury resulting from pinching extremities. This is active only during automatic closing and convenience closing. This feature monitors the power consumption of the SR motor (M12m1)Increased current consumption is evaluated as pinching. After pinching is recognized, the sliding/pop-up roof is reversed, i.e. moved opposite to the direction of motion in which pinching occurred by the overhead control panel control module (N70) actuating the SR motor (M12m1)If the sliding/pop-up roof is in the pop-up range, it is moved to the pop-up stop. The open sliding/pop-up roof is opened by a distance of 125 mm when it is further than 125 mm from the rear stop at the time pinching occurs. If the sliding/pop-up roof is closer to the rear stop, it is opened completely In the event of failure of the Hall sensors it is ensured that the sliding/pop-up roof is reversed for 1 second when it is at least 150 mm away from the rear stop. Then the sliding/pop-up roof is desynchronized if the Hall pulses are still absent. If the sliding/pop-up roof is close to the rear stop, it is off switched off immediately, because the latter should not be subjected to mechanical load.

If the excessive force limiter feature is defective, automatic opening and closing of the sliding/pop-up roof is not possible.
