1 Open ashtray
2 Unclip center console cover (2) in the direction of the arrow from center console

NOTE: On vehicles with code (489a) Airmatic (semi-active air suspension), (220a) Parktronic system (PTS (889) Keyless Go, (423a) automatic 5-speed transmission (NAT), (219a) Distronic(DTR), (228) stationary heater, do not separate the electrical connectors at lower control panel control module (N72).

3 Unscrew screws (3)
4 Lift paneling on left (4) and paneling on right (5) at front and remove
5 Unscrew bolts (6)
6 Remove stowage compartment (1) from the center console
7 Install in the reverse order
