AN88.50-P-0005-02T Retrofit Hotel Lock Wiring Harness.

Complete hotel lock wiring harness.

Component Identification:

1. Install contact springs (1).

For line lengths and line cross section, see Parts ordering notes

2. Install round terminal (2) at other end of brown (br) lead.
3. Install contact spring (1) for yellow (ge) lead in chamber "2" of white, 2-pin connector (3).
4. Install contact spring (1) for brown (br) lead in chamber "1" of white, 2-pin connector (3) and lock white, 2-pin connector.

5. Tie yellow (ge) and brown (br) line together with insulation tape, as shown in illustration.

The insulating tape should have a distance of at least 30 mm to the white, 2-pin connector (3).

6. Route shopmade hotel lock wiring harness (4) along vehicle wiring harness on trunk lid (5) on left side of trunk and fasten with cable strap.

7. Route hotel lock wiring harness (4) along vehicle wiring harness in trunk on left to rear SAM control module with fuse and relay module (N10/2) and fasten with cable strap.
8. Connect brown line (br) from hotel closing wiring harness (4) to ground (left wheelhouse in luggage compartment) (W6).

9. Disconnect black, 28-pin connector (6) from socket "21" in rear SAM control module with fuse and relay module (N10/2).

Socket "21" is marked (see arrow).

10. Remove contact carrier (7) from clutch housing (9).
11. Install yellow (ge) line for hotel lock wiring harness in chamber "4" of contact carrier (7).
12. Install contact carrier (7) in connector housing (9).
13. Tie back excess length of hotel lock wiring harness and yellow (ge) line to vehicle wiring harness with cable strap.

14. Reconnect black, 28-pin connector (6) in socket "21" in rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/2).

Component Identification:

15. Connect white, 2-pin connector (3) for hotel lock wiring harness (4) to trunk lid contact switch (S88/6).
