AR82.60-P-0001-01TG Remove/Install Fiber Optical Cable Module For The Media Oriented System Transport (MOST)
- with CODE (527) COMAND APS (with navigation)
- with CODE (530) COMAND APS USA (with navigation system)
- with CODE (860) TV tuner



1 Remove screw (35) and swivel navigation processor (N41/1) in bracket to one side until the connectors are accessible.







2 Detach connector (31) from navigation processor (N41/1) and from TV tuner (A2/10).
3 Unlock connector locks (31) and pull out carrier (32).
4 Remove fuses (30) from carriers (32), unlock locks and remove damaged fiber optical cable module (16).
5 Cut off damaged fiber optical cable module (16) and strap down with insulation tape.










6 Remove the new fiber optical cable module (16) from the connector (33) and the carrier (34).

Connector (33) and carrier (34) are no longer required.







7 Install the new fiber optical cable module (16) in contact cavity 1 (input) of the connector for the TV tuner (A2/10).
8 Install new fiber optical cable module (16) in contact cavity 2 (output) of the connector for the navigation processor (N41/1).
9 Complete connectors (31) again and connect to TV tuner (A2/10) and navigation processor (N41/1).







10 Swivel navigation processor (N41/1) with bracket back again and fasten with screw (35).
