Activation
When the transmitter key is removed and the driver's door is open and closed again, the anti-theft alarm (ATA) is activated after approx. 90 s after the last the door is closed, the vehicle is still unlocked.

Self-arming controls a timer in the rear SAM control module with fuse and relay module (N10/2), which starts when the last door, the tailgate (model 211.0) or the rear door (model 211.2) is closed. If a door, the tailgate (model 211.0) or the rear door (model 211.2) is opened during the timer period, the timer stops and restarts when the door, the tailgate (model 211.0) or the rear door (model 211.2) are relocked.
The anti-theft alarm (ATA) is completely ready for alarm after 120 s, the vehicle remains unlocked.
