Test 1: Check component Y77/1 (Charge pressure positioner).

1. Check component Y77/1 (Charge pressure positioner).
Possible cause and remedy in the case of current fault code

- Check line from component N3/9 (CDI control unit) (pin M.21) to component Y77/1 (Charge pressure positioner) (pin 4) for short circuit to positive.
Possible cause and remedy in the case of stored fault code

- Inspect wiring and connectors at connection points for loose contacts, corrosion, damage and short circuits. Repair or replace as required.
