Particulars of complaint

- After the engine control unit and (or) transmission control unit have been programmed, fault code 061B may be stored in the transmission control unit.
Cause

- The torque interfaces of the engine control unit and transmission control unit are not optimally suited to each other.Torque control is not possible or only partially possible.
REMEDY

- Program control unit N3/10 (ME-SFI [ME] control unit).
- Perform final quick test.
- Erase fault memory.
IMPORTANT NOTE

- Even if no new engine software is detected by STAR DIAGNOSIS, the SCN coding is still to be performed.
- If fault code 061B reoccurs, it can be ignored until a new engine control software version is available.
