Detaching and attaching rear section of transmission housing

















Detaching





1. Detach circlip (20c) using a suitable pair of pliers.
2. Remove planetary gear set (25) from rear section of transmission housing (16b).
3. Detach rear section of transmission housing (16b) from front section of transmission housing by unscrewing the bolts (17).

Attaching
4. Clean the sealing surfaces of the rear section of the transmission housing (16b) and front section of transmission housing (16a).

m The sealing surface must be free of oil and grease.
5. Insert the planetary gear set (25) in the rear section of the transmission housing (16b).
6. Install circlip (20c) using a suitable pair of pliers.
7. Apply sealing compound to the sealing surface on the front section of the transmission housing (16b).
8. Fit rear section of transmission housing (16b).
