GF82.95-P-2000PM TELE AID Switch-On/Switch-Off Characteristics, Function

MODEL 203.0 /2 /7
- with CODE (359) TELE AID emergency call system
- up to Model Year 8

Function requirements
Any telematics service has to be authorized individually. In the event of a defect or if there is no authorization, an error message appears in the multifunction display (A1p13) of the instrument cluster (A1) and in the display of the COMAND operating, display and control unit (A40/3). The system is operational as soon as circuit 30 is active.

Self-test
When circuit 15R is active, the emergency call system control unit (N123/4) performs a self-test (approx. t = 3.5 s). If the test was successful, the system is operational.

Terminating the emergency call
Usually, the emergency service center deactivates the emergency call.

The emergency call system control unit (N123/4) terminates establishing the connection of the emergency call after 5 unsuccessful attempts.
