GF77.20-P-3003PP Desynchronizing Sliding/Pop-Up Roof, Function

GF77.20-P-3003PP Desynchronizing Sliding/Pop-Up Roof, Function

- with CODE (414) Power glass tilting/sliding roof
- up to Model Year 8

Desynchronized state
The position of the sliding/pop-up roof is not know. It can be moved in two directions, however, only with the "Open sliding roof" and "Open pop-up roof" buttons on the roof system switch (N70s1). Closing is no longer possible using the roof system switch (N70s1) because it cannot definitely identify the direction of motor rotation. The sliding/ pop-up roof is actuated for approx.
t = 0.3 s in the "Open sliding roof" direction to indicate the desynchronized state and protect the mechanical end stop in the position "Sliding roof open". after which the roof system switch (N70s1) must again be pressed in the "open sliding roof"direction.

Desychronization
Desynchronization is accomplished in the following cases:
- Voltage at overhead control panel control module (N70) not too high or too low.
- Sliding/pop-up roof exceeds defined motion range by 5 motor rotations.
- 1 of the 2 Hall sensor signals missing for t > 160 ms.
- 2 Hall sensor signals missing for t > 160 ms in spite of reversed sliding/pop-up roof.
- The defined Hall sensor signal sequence is faulty.
- A defect is recognized in the excessive force limitation (pinch protection(M12b3))

In the desynchronized state only the function "Open sliding/ pop-up roof" is possible.
