MODEL 203 up to Model Year 8

Function
The convenience feature comprises the functions of convenience closing and convenience opening transmitter performed via the key.
The convenience closing function can be used to close all windows and the tilting/sliding roof in models 203.0 and 203.2. In model 203.7 the panorama sliding roof is closed.

The convenience opening function can be used to open all windows and the sliding roof in models 203.0 and 203.2. In model 203.7 the panorama sliding roof is opened.

These functions are aborted immediately when the transmitter key is no longer activated.

Convenience opening Function requirements
- Circuits 15C, 15R and 15 off
- No overvoltage or undervoltage
- All doors closed (state: unlocked)
- No other control module is sending central opening signals
- "Unlock" button on transmitter key (A8/1) pressed and held down for longer than 1 s.

The convenience opening function is aborted if
- The request is no longer received via the CAN, or
- The function requirements listed above are no longer satisfied.

Furthermore, initiating the convenience opening function causes the sliding roof or the panorama sliding roof in model 203.7 to open.

Convenience closing Function requirements
- Circuits 15C, 15R and 15 off
- No overvoltage or undervoltage
- All doors closed (state: locked)
- No other control module sending central closing messages and
- "Lock" button on transmitter key (A8/1) pressed and held down for longer than 1 s.

The convenience closing function is aborted if
- An obstruction is detected, or
- The request is no longer received via the CAN, or
- The function requirements listed above are no longer satisfied.

Furthermore, initiating the convenience closing function causes the sliding roof or the panorama sliding roof in model 203.7 to close.
