AN88.50-P-0001-01P Installing Auxiliary Trunk Lid Lock







1. Close rotary tumbler in trunk lid lock (1)
2. Insert left and right control rods (4) into driver on trunk lid lock (1)

3. Close rotary tumbler in trunk lid auxiliary lock (5).
On left and right.

4. Insert trunk lid auxiliary lock (5) into trunk lid and install control rod (4) in driver (5a).
On left and right.

5. Tighten screws on trunk lid auxiliary lock (5) hand-tight.
On left and right.

6. Actuate pushbutton lock.
All three rotary tumblers should jump from the locked to the unlocked position.

7. Install trunk lid auxiliary lock (6) striker eye with insert cage nut and screws in rear center section.
Tighten screws hand-tight.

8. Close trunk lid.
Carefully close, do not slam.
This centers the striker eyes (6) with the locks (5) of the trunk lid auxiliary lock.

9. Open trunk lid.
10. Tighten screws for striker eyes and trunk lid auxiliary locks.
Screw on trunk lid lock
Bolt to striker eye

11. Check play of trunk lid auxiliary locks (5).
Play 2-3 mm (dimension a).
