The left door control module (N69/1) is connected with the controller area network bus class B (interior compartment) (CAN-B) to exchange data and has the following purposes:

Scans the following switches:
^ Driver-side power window switch group (S20/1)

Reads in following sensors
^ Hall sensors of left front power window motor (M10/3) with code (880a) Locking system with infrared remote control
^ Left IR receiver (A26/1) with code (275a) memory package (driver's seat, steering column mirror):
^ Mirror up/down adjustment potentiometer (M21/1r2)
^ Mirror in/out adjustment potentiometer (M21/1r3)

Switching loads via internal semi-conductor switches:
^ Left front power window motor (M10/3)
^ Mirror up/down adjustment motor (M21/1m1)
^ Mirror in/out adjustment motor (M21/1m2)
^ Mirror heater (M21/1r1)
^ Left front door central locking motor (M14/6)
^ Left door entrance/exit lamp (E17/3)
^ Left outside mirror turn signal lamp (E6/5)
^ Switch and control illumination for driver power window switch group (S20/1) with code (249b) Automatic dimming inside and outside rearview mirror (driver):
^ Automatic dimming mirror (M21/1h1) with code (500b) Left/right folding outside mirror:
^ Mirror fold-in motor (M21/1m3).
