Oil Filter: Service and Repair

AP18.00-P-0101-06HH Replace oil filter element, drain oil filter













Shown on ENGINE 285.950
1 Use a socket wrench bit to unscrew the screw cap (1) and remove it along with the oil filter element (2).
2 Undo the oil filter element (2) from the screw cap (1) by knocking on the center rod briefly.
Use a suitable container for this.
3 Replace sealing rings (3).
4 Push the new oil filter element (2) on to the screw cap (1).
5 Screw on the screw cap (1) using the socket wrench bit E3 .
