AR82.20-P-1000R Remove/Install Overhead Control Panel (OCP)







DANGER:
- Risk of explosion from gas. Risk of poisoning and caustic burns from swallowing battery electrolyte. Risk of injury from caustic burns to eyes and skin from battery electrolyte or from handling damaged lead-acid batteries
- No fire, sparks, naked flames or smoking. Wear add-resistant gloves, clothing and eye protection. Pour battery electrolyte only into suitable and appropriately marked containers.


1 Connect ground lead on both batteries

NOTE: First of all the on-board electrical system battery in the trunk and then the starter battery in the engine compartment.


2 Unclip overhead control panel control module (N70) at the retaining clamps (arrows) using assembly wedge

CAUTION: Carefully unclip the overhead control panel control module (N70), as otherwise the overhead control panel control module's (N70) housing may be damaged.

3 Disconnect electrical connectors (1)
4 Remove overhead control panel control module (N70)
5 Install in the reverse order
