AZ54.65-P-0001-06R Route Wiring Harness And Connect

Component Identification:

1. Route ultrasonic back-up assist wiring harness (1) to cable passage (see arrow) starting at ultrasonic back-up assist control module (62) and fasten.
2. Connect ground tieout to ground (left wheelhouse in trunk) (W58).







3. Insert 18-pin connector (see arrow) into ultrasonic back-up assist control module (62).

The connector is coded and therefore protected against polarity reversal.

4. Route tie-out with 6-pin connector for ultrasonic PTS rear bumper connector (X35/29) to cable passage (d).







5. Connect 6-pin connector and 6-pin connector for ultrasonic back-up assist wiring harness (1) and ultrasonic sensor wiring harness (1a) to ultrasonic PTS rear bumper connector (X35/29) and fasten.







6. Route ultrasonic back-up assist wiring harness (1) to passenger compartment through cable passage (see arrow).
7. Route tieout with 3-pin connector for rear warning element (A44/3) to installation location on rear wall along present leads and fasten.

Contrary to illustration it is necessary to remove the rollover bar stowage shell because the cable duct offers little clearance for subsequent routing.







8. Route ultrasonic back-up assist wiring harness (1) to rear fuse and relay module (K40/5) along present lead and continue to potential distributor (CAN B) rear (X30/17) and fasten.











9. Insert fuse carrier with 5A fuse into plug location (K40/5f38) for rear fuse and relay module (see right figure).
10. Insert 2-pin connector into potential distributor (CAN B) rear (X30/17).
11. Connect ground tieout to ground CAN/ rear shield (W6).
