AN82.64-P-0001-02RA Retrofitting CD Changer In Stowage Compartment

1 Expose in-vehicle branch-off line (3) with black, 3-pin connector (2) for the CD player with changer (A2/6).

The in-vehicle branch-off line (3) comes from the in-vehicle wiring harness (see arrow) and installed as standard







2 Remove the three transport protections on the underside of the T CD player with changer (A2/6) as per the instructions.
3 Seal the openings in the transport securing devices with the stickers enclosed (see enlarged section).







4 Insert CD player with changer (A2/6) in bracket (4) and fasten with four M4X6 screws (5).







5 Connect MOST connector housing (11) and black, 3-pin connector (2) to CD player with changer (A2/6).







6 Position CD player with changer (A2/6) as per the picture and fix in position on crossmember with plastic plug (6).

The branch-off line for the voltage supply of the CD player with changer (A2/6) must not run over sharp edges and has to be installed without chafing.

Risk of breakage: Do not kink fiber optical cable, route over sharp edges or bend in radii smaller than 25 mm. Tensile forces on inserts must not exceed 65 N. Do not crush fiber optic cable, and do not compress with clamps or tie straps.







7 Unclip cover on catch hook (see arrows) of luggage box (7).

Cover (6) is no longer required.







8 Install luggage box (7) above CD player with changer (A2/6).
9 Insert privacy screen (20) above CD player with changer (A2/6).

The tabs of the privacy screen (20) have to be inserted between the luggage box (7) and the brackets on the bracket for the CD player with changer (A2/6).

10 Fasten privacy screen (20) on luggage box (7) with two screws (21).

The holes for the screws (21) already exist at the luggage box (7).
