The vehicle is lowered or raised depending on the vehicle speed and the setting on the level adjustment switch (N72s18). There are four vehicle level stages:
^ Normal vehicle level
^ Vehicle level lowered (only automatic)
^ Vehicle level raised stage 1 (only manual)
^ Vehicle level raised stage 2 (only manual)
The switch position selected by the driver remains stored even with "Ignition OFF" until it is manually changed again.
Level adjustment switch not actuated
^ Engine running
^ The vehicle is at the normal level A (- 4 mm).
^ Between 60 km/h and 100 km/h - vehicle level is continuously lowered automatically to lowered level B (- 19 mm).
^ Between 100 km/h and 60 km/h - vehicle level is continuously raised to normal level A (- 4 mm).
Level adjustment switch actuated to stage 1
^ Engine running
^ The vehicle level is raised to stage 1 C (+ 11 mm).
^ Between 30 km/h and 140 km/h - vehicle level is continuously lowered automatically to normal level A (- 4 mm).
^ Between 140 km/h and 30 km/h vehicle level is continuously raised to raised level stage 1 C (+ 11 mm).
Level adjustment switch actuated to stage 2
^ Engine running
^ The vehicle level is raised to stage 2 D (+ 21 mm).
^ Between 0 km/h and 30 km/h vehicle level is continuously lowered automatically to raised level stage 1 C (+ 11 mm).
^ Between 30 km/h and 140 km/h - vehicle level is continuously lowered automatically to normal level A (- 4 mm).
^ Between 140 km/h and 30 km/h vehicle level is continuously raised to raised level stage 1 C (+ 11 mm).
^ Between 30 km/h and 0 km/h vehicle level is continuously raised to raised level stage 2 D (+ 21 mm).
