AZ82.64-P-0001-04R Retrofitting CD Changer In Stowage Compartment
- with CODE (352a) COMAND operating and display system
- with CODE (750b) MB Audio 30 radio with TP/RDS


For stowage compartment in left rear.

1 Tie connector (2) for power supply line (3) out of standard wiring harness and lay into recess.

Standard wiring harness is routed along rear wall (see arrows).







2 Connect D2B fiber optic cable (1) and power supply line (3) to CD player with changer (A2/6).
3 Clip D2B fiber optic cable (1) on CD player with changer (A2/6) into catch (see arrow).







4 Put CD player with changer (A2/6) in bracket (4) and fasten with 4 screws M4X6 (9).

Do not kink or stretch fiber optic cables.

5 Fasten mount (4) on cross member with plastic plug (5).







6 Unclip cover (6) from stowage compartment (7) (catch hook, see arrows).

Cover (6) is eliminated part.







7 Install stowage compartment (7) above CD player with changer (A2/6).
8 Insert privacy screen (8) above CD player with changer (A2/6) (new part).
9 Fasten privacy screen (8) to stowage compartment (7) with 2 sheet metal screws (10) (holes prepunched).
