AN82.70-P-0004-02R Retrofit Linguatronic Voice Control System Activation Switch
- with CODE (852) CTEL preinstallation assembly at dome
- with CODE (853) MB standard cellular telephone
- with CODE (854) MB portable cellular telephone


1 Pull cover (4) out of CC cruise control switch (S40/4).

Cover (4) is eliminated part.

2 Insert VCS switch (S93/2) in new CC switch (S40/4).

Switch should catch audibly. It is not possible to remove it later. VCS switch (S93/2) and CC cruise control switch (S40/4) form one unit.







3 Vertically pull out existing CC switch (S40/4) upward and out of steering column tube paneling (3).

Existing CC switch (S40/4) is no longer used.

4 Vertically pull steering column up/down, in/out switch (S59/1s1) upward out of jacket tube paneling (3).







5 Take out screws (5).
6 Pull combination switch (S4) upward out of jacket tube cover (3).

Jacket tube paneling (3) is eliminated part.

7 Fasten combination switch (S4) in new jacket tube cover (3) with screws (5).







8 Install steering column up/down, in/out switch (S59/1s1) on new jacket tube paneling (3).
9 Clip new CC switch (S40/4) with VCS switch (S93/2) onto new steering column tube paneling (3).

Do not bend pins of individual switches when installing Jacket tube switch module is now ready for installation.
