US Service 13 - Every 10,000 Miles or 1 Year



US Service 13
First at 10,000 mi or 1 year; after first every 20,000 mi or 2 years

Engine Compartment
- Check catch, safety catch and hinges of engine hood for proper operation.
- Check auxiliary battery condition using "Midtronics MCR 717" Tester.

Check the following fluid levels, correct if necessary. If there is a loss of fluid, determine cause and perform repair with separate work order.
- Brake system
- Power steering
- Windshield washer system (incl summer/winter cleanser)

Interior
- Reset service indicator in instrument cluster

Function check
- Warning/indicator lamps, illumination and interior lighting
- Windshield wipers, windshield washer system, headlamp cleaning system, where applicable; rear window wiper, rear window washer system
- Check Sensotronic Brake Control (SBC) hydraulic unit

Wheels, brakes
- Inspect tires for damage and splits, measure tread depth and record in mm
- Check condition/thickness of front brake pads/discs (remove 1 front wheel at Service 13)
- Correct tire inflation pressure

Trunk
- Check main battery condition using "Midtronics MCR 717" Tester.
- Correct spare tire inflation pressure (if applicable)
- Check TIREFIT sealant expiration date (wagons with third row seat only).

Vehicle front/rear
- Check wiper blade condition
