AR77.40-P-5000T Remove/Install Roof Railing

Shown On Right Roof Railing:

1 Remove headliner
2 Unscrew nuts (2) and loosen window airbag (3) from roof frame until nuts (4) are accessible
- Nut, window airbag unit to roof frame: 6 N.m
3 Unscrew nuts (4)
- Nut for roof railing: 9 N.m
4 Unclip cover (5) and slide back
5 Unclip tailgate actuation hydraulic cylinder from hydraulic cylinder ball pin (6) and lay to side until nut (7) is accessible
6 Unscrew nut (7)
- Nut for roof railing: 9 N.m
7 Remove roof railing (1) from vehicle roof

CAUTION: Carefully remove roof railing (1) from vehicle roof to prevent paint damage.

8 Install in the reverse order
