Global Positioning System Antenna: Service and Repair

AR82.85-P-0002T Remove/Install GPS Antenna
- with CODE (521) MB Audio 50 radio USA (without navigation)
- with CODE (525) MB Audio 50 APS radio
- with CODE (526) COMAND (without navigation)
- with CODE (527) COMAND APS (with navigation)
- with CODE (530) COMAND APS USA (with navigation system)







1 Remove rear spoiler
2 Remove adhesive felt (1) and disconnect antenna line electrical connector (2) underneath
3 Remove grommet (3) from rear-end door (4)

NOTE: Installation: Use sliding compound.

4 Lead antenna line (2) out through rear-end door (4)
5 Detach GPS antenna (A2/23) from rear-end door (4) using mounting wedge (4) and remove

NOTE
- Always replace GPS antenna (A2/23)
- Installation: Clean and de-grease
- Installation location on rear-end door (4)

6 Install in the reverse order
