Remove/Install Hydraulic Line Of Power Steering
- Downstream of Power Steering Radiator
Shown On Model 211.061:
CAUTION: Before opening the hydraulic system the area surrounding the separation point should be cleaned thoroughly. Even the smallest dirt particles, introduced into the hydraulic components, can lead to malfunctions and a total failure of the hydraulic system
1.1 Remove trim panels of cylinder head cover
1.2 Remove the engine intake air duct upstream of the left air cleaner
2 Suction off oil from the reservoir (8) of the power steering pump
3 Disconnect hydraulic line (7) from reservoir (8) of power steering pump
NOTE: Seal off line connections with plugs.
- Check condition of hose clamp and hydraulic line (7) and replace if necessary.
4.1 Remove bottom section of sound-proofing capsule
4.2 Remove engine compartment paneling
5 Disconnect hydraulic line (7) from power steering radiator (6)
NOTE: Seal off line connections with plugs.
- Check condition of hose clamp and hydraulic line (7) and replace if necessary.
6 Remove hydraulic line (7) downwards
7 Install in the reverse order
8 Filling and bleeding power steering pump
9 Check function of power steering and for leaks.
