Open circuit in trunk wiring harness





Attachments

Remedy:

Wiring harness routing modified.

Removal of existing cable strap.

Installation of a 150 mm long split corrugated tube.

1. The maximum diameter of corrugated hose should only be used on vehicles with remote trunk lid locking because the installation space inside the paneling is not quite sufficient for the 13.6 mm tube. (The paneling distorts a little and may chafe on the frame of the trunk lining on the left).

2. In vehicles without remote trunk lid locking a corrugated hose with outside diameter 11.4 (nominal width 8.5) is sufficient and will not distort the paneling.
