Check Engine Light Illuminated with Glow Plug Fault Codes








If you receive customer reports in the above model vehicles of the Check Engine Light being illuminated with the following listed fault codes, please perform the following checks and the applicable repair as necessary.

1. Check the glow plug electrical line and repair as needed. Refer to WIS document AR00.19-P-0001A "Repair wiring harness as per specified repair method".

2. If no fault in the wiring is found, replace all of the glow plugs. Refer to WIS document AR15.20-P-4111T "Remove/install glow plugs".

Note:
To avoid repeat repairs, always replace the full set of glow plugs when one or more of the glow plugs fail.

Note:
A copy of the SDS short test must accompany returned parts. If the documentation is missing or does not support the diagnosis, the warranty claim may be debited.
