US Service 13 - Every 13,000 Miles or 1 Year



US Service 13
First at 13,000 mi or 1 year; after first every 26,000 mi or 2 years

Engine Compartment
Check the following fluid levels, correct if necessary. If there is a loss of fluid, determine cause and perform repair with separate work order.
- Brake system
- Power steering
- Windshield washer system, incl. rear window washer (where applicable)
- Engine cooling system, antifreeze and corrosion protection.
- Check catch and safety catch and hinges on engine hood for proper operation.
- Check battery condition using "Midtronics MCR 717" Tester

Interior
Function check
- Warning/indicator lamps, illumination and interior lighting
- Windshield wipers, washer system, headlamp cleaning system, where applicable; rear window wiper, rear window washer system.
- Check Sensotronic Brake Control (SBC) hydraulic unit.
- Reset service indicator in instrument cluster

Wheels, brakes
- Inspect tires for damage and splits, measure tread depth
- Check thickness of brake pads (remove 1 front wheel at Service 13)
- Correct tire inflation pressure (incl. spare tire)

Trunk
- Check main battery condition using "Midtronics MCR 717" Tester.

Vehicle front/rear
- Check wiper blade condition
