If you receive customer reports in the above model vehicles that the curve illumination is nonfunctional or the following fault codes shown above are present, the actuator lines for the motor, sensor and/or bi-xenon bulb of the reflector module can chafe on the metallic leaf spring (see picture 2) during swivel operations and cause a short circuit. To resolve, apply insulating repair film to both headlamps as instructed below.
1. Open headlamp cover. If necessary, remove headlamp.
2. Insert repair film with guide film (Figure 1, 1) downwards between the two bars in the headlamp (Figure 2, 1)
3. Continue inserting the repair film all the way in (Figure 3).
4. Close headlamp cover.
5. Perform quick test.
