GF82.10-P-2008T Light Warning, Function
GF82.10-P-2008T Light Warning, Function
Component Identification:
Light warning function with manually-actuated standing lamps or headlamps
Function requirements
^ The instrument cluster (A1) receives the CAN message if the transmitter key (A8/1) is in the EIS [EZS] control unit (N73) and set to the 0 position "circuit 15C".
^ The rotary light switch (S1) is set to the "standing lamp ON" or "driving lights ON" position.
Function
The transmitter key (A8/1) is removed from the EIS [EZS] control unit (N73).
The front left door is opened.
The rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/2) recognizes that the door is open from the signal of the left front door contact switch (S17/3), and transmits "door open" to the instrument cluster (A1) via CAN class B.
The instrument cluster (A1) detects "door open" and "standing lamp On" from CAN class B. The acoustic light warning function is thereby triggered.
Light warning function with automatically actuated standing lamp or headlamp (sensor-controlled)
Function requirements:
^ The transmitter key (A8/1) of the EIS [EZS] control unit (N73) is set to the 0 position "circuit 15C On".
^ The rotary light switch (S1) is in position "Auto".
^ Via CAN class B, the instrument cluster (A1) receives the CAN messages:
"circuit 15C On"
"standing lamp On" or "driving lights On"
Function
The transmitter key (A8/1) is removed from the EIS [EZS] control unit (N73). The front left door is opened.
The rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/2) recognizes that the door is open from the signal of the left front door contact switch (S17/3) and transmits the CAN message "door open" to the instrument cluster (A1) via CAN class B.
The instrument cluster (A1) acquires the CAN message "door open", "standing lamp On" or "driving lights On" from CAN class B. The acoustic light warning function is thereby triggered.
The light warning is not triggered if the transmitter key (A8/1) is set to position 1 "circuit 15R or position 2 "circuit 15".
