- Switch off ignition.
- Detach coupling at component B4/6 (Rail pressure sensor).
- Connect adapter cable no. 611 589 03 63 00 at component B4/6 (Rail pressure sensor).
- Measure direct voltage with multimeter between sockets 1 and 3
- Switch on ignition.
Specified value:

- Voltage[4,9...5,2] V
