Tightening pattern/bolt assignment
A Collar bolt M1 OX132 mm (exhaust side)
E Collar bolt M1 OX168.5 mm (inlet side)
Tightening instructions for right and left cylinder head 1 Use 3 wrench bit to tighten cylinder head bolts. m Observe sequence, see tightening pattern.
External Torx drive bolts M6X35 mm (to left timing case cover)
Internal Torx drive bolts M6X60 mm (to right timing case cover)
If the tightening torque was exceeded at a cylinder head bolt, unscrew the cylinder head bolt, check shank length (replace cylinder head bolt if necessary) and tighten fully beginning with stage 1.
Cylinder head bolts are not retightened.
