AR77.50-P-3035-01R Remove/Install Front Catch For Adjustment
- except CODE (P99) Special model "AMG Black Series"

Soft Top Mechanical Components:

Shown on right lock







1. Screw nuts (1) tight.

Observe tightening torque.

2. Unscrew bolts (3) from lock (4)
3. Remove washer (5) from lock (4) on inner attachment point (arrow)

The washers (6) remain on the lock (4).

4. Screw in bolts (3).

Position bolts (3) only lightly, do not tighten.

5. Slightly lift Vario roof front section and remove shim between Vario roof front section and crossmember above windshield.

After the shim is removed the Vario roof closes by itself Support Vario roof front section by hand. Ensure that both locks (4) run correctly into mounts (7).

6. Lock front catch on emergency unlocking (2) and unlock again.
7. Tighten bolts (3).

Observe tightening torque.

8. Lock front catch on emergency unlocking (2).
9. Loosen nuts (1).
