AR68.20-P-2350R Remove/Install Cover on Center Console







DANGER:
- Risk of explosion from gas. Risk of poisoning and caustic burns from swallowing battery electrolyte. Risk of injury from caustic burns to eyes and skin from battery electrolyte or from handling damaged lead-acid batteries
- No fire, sparks, naked flames or smoking. Wear acid-resistant gloves, clothing and eye protection. Pour battery electrolyte only into suitable and appropriately marked containers.

1 Disconnect ground leads from the two batteries

NOTE: First vehicle electrical system battery in trunk then starter battery in engine compartment


2 Move driver's and passenger seats down and to rear
3 Remove cover on shift lever
4 Unclip left and right paneling (2, 3) from retaining clips (4) with assembly wedge and remove
5 Unscrew bolts (5)
6 Position assembly wedge on center console cover (1) (arrows) and unclip center console cover (1) from instrument panel
7 Lift center console cover (1) until connectors on electrical connections (6) are accessible
8 Disconnect connectors from electrical connections (6) and remove center console cover (1)

NOTE: Number of connectors depends on equipment.

9 Install in the reverse order.
