The video signals are transmitted by the TV tuner (MOST) (A2/10) to the COMAND operating, display and control unit (A40/3) via the Media Oriented System Transport (MOST). The audio signals are also transmitted to the audio gateway control unit (N93/1) via the MOST and then output via the vehicle speakers. The desired tone adjustments (volume, bass, treble, and fader) are carried out in the audio gateway control unit (N93/1). With code (810) Sound system the audio signals are amplified by the sound amplifier (A2/13) where they are output via the vehicle speakers.

Displaying mute status in the TV screen
If mute is set (muting) a mute symbol is displayed on the right in the display of the COMAND operating, display and control unit (A40/3).
