Commercially available tools
1. Heat rear axle output flange (12) to installation temperature using hot plate (040). Check temperature constantly using remote thermometer (041).





2. Turn assembly stand so that rear axle output flange (12) can be pushed on from above.
3. Put on suitable heat-resistant protective gloves and install rear axle output flange (12).

Leave rear axle output flange (12) to cool until all the components are at the same temperature in order to ensure a strong connection.

4. Screw on new hexagon collared nut.
5. Mount pin wrench (013) on rear axle output flange (12).
6. Tighten hexagon collared nut using commercially available socket wrench bit (020).
