Installing front axle output flange

















1. Heat front axle output flange (10) to installation temperature using hot plate (040). Check temperature constantly using remote thermometer (041).
2. Turn assembly stand (070) so that front axle output flange (10) can be pushed on from above.





3. Put on suitable heat-resistant protective gloves and install front axle output flange (10).

Leave front axle output flange (10) to cool until all the components are at the same temperature in order to ensure a strong connection.

4. Screw on new hexagon collared nut.
5. Screw retainer wrench (021) onto front axle output flange (10).
6. Tighten hexagon collared nut usingl3 socket wrench bit (020).
