Component Identification:

Oil system
The helical spur gears (9) in addition serve as an oil pump and, via oil ducts (see arrow A) and an oil splasher pipe, supply the bearings and the planetary gear set (20) with lubricating oil. The transfer case (2) receives a lifetime filling (fill for life).
