Remove/install Intermediate Shaft And Replacing Deep-groove Ball Bearing







DANGER:
- Lethal injuries are possible If vehicle slips off of lifting platform
- Align vehicle between the columns of the lifting platform and position the four support plates at the lifting platform support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.

1 Remove left front axle shaft (60)
2 Remove locking ring (36)

NOTE: Installation: Pay attention to correct seating.

3 Pull intermediate shaft out (34) out of the oil pan

NOTE: Model 220: For this purpose raise the suspension strut until the intermediate shaft can be guided through the C-bracket on the suspension strut.

4 Replace deep-groove ball bearing (35)
5 Check circlip (34a) and replace if necessary
6 Install in the reverse order
