Replace Left Inner Radial Seal At Front Axle Gear







1 Remove front final-drive unit (50)
2 Drain and collect hyped gear oil via the intermediate shaft opening
3 Clamp front final-drive unit (50) to assembly stand
4 Remove bearing cover (54)
5 Remove O-ring (54a) from bearing cap (54)

NOTE: Installation: Inspect O-ring, install new ring if necessary

6 Remove differential assembly (13) from front final-drive unit housing

7 Replace radial oil seal (33)

NOTE: Coat sealing lip of radial seal with universal hyped gear oil

8 Install in the reverse order
9 Fill with lubricant for front final-drive unit
