AR54.15-P-1340T Remove/Install Rear Prefuse Box







1 Remove trim panel of rear center section
2 Disconnect ground cable of battery
3.1 Lift TIREFIT box out of spare wheel recess
3.2 Remove spare wheel from spare wheel recess
4 Unscrew screws (4) from tool box (3) unclip tool box (3) using mounting wedge (5) and then remove

See "Special Tools" given below.

5 Remove clips (2) and raise spare wheel recess trim panel (1) until rear prefuse box (F33)can be accessed

NOTE:
- Remove all clips (2) from spare wheel recess trim panel (1). Number of clips (2) vanes depending on equipment configuration.
- Support spare wheel recess trim panel (1) using a suitable object
- Installation: Install new clips (2)

6 Mark installation position of individual supply lines (red) (6)

NOTE: Number of supply lines (red) (6) varies depending on equipment configuration.

7 Slacken nuts securing supply lines (red) (6) to rear prefuse box (F33) and move supply lines (red) (6) to one side

NOTE:
- Nuts remain attached to supply lines (red) (6).
- Installation: Observe markings showing installation position

- Nut securing supply lines to rear prefuse box: 7 N.m

8 Unclip fuse holders (7)

NOTE: Installation: Pay attention to color coding. Number of fuse holders (7) varies depending on equipment configuration.

9 Unscrew positive lead (black) (8) and move to one side
- Nut securing supply lines to rear prefuse box: 21 N.m

10 Separate electrical connectors (9)

NOTE: Installation: Electrical connectors (9) are color-coded.

11 Unclip rear prefuse box (F33) from latching hook (10) and remove

NOTE: Push latching hook (10) to side.

12 Install in the reverse order
